Chris focuses his practice on assisting clients with their business, litigation, and estate planning needs.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Messiah College, where he graduated cum laude, and his J.D. degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law.  Following law school, Chris practiced with an established Charlotte firm handling various types of civil litigation, including personal injury, construction defect, and product liability cases.  Immediately prior to forming Copeland Cook & Richards, PLLC, he operated a solo practice focusing on estate planning, business formation, and civil litigation.  Chris is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in North Carolina and he is a member of the Mecklenburg County and North Carolina State Bar Associations.
